The agreement

Terms of service

TODO: solicitor review before launch. This is template content describing the intended arrangement, not a reviewed contract.

1. Who these terms are with

LeadLamp is provided by No Fear Tech Ltd (company number 16758357). Using the service means accepting these terms.

2. What we provide

Software that finds UK businesses matching a description you give, checks their published contact details, drafts emails for you, and sends the ones you approve. We provide the tools. We do not guarantee a particular number of leads, replies or customers, and nobody honestly could.

3. What you are responsible for

You are the sender. Every email goes out in your name, from your domain, and you approve each one before it leaves. That means you are the data controller for the contacts in your account and you are responsible for what your messages say.

LeadLamp enforces the limits described on the Trust page — only limited companies, PLCs and LLPs are emailed, every message carries an unsubscribe link, and opt-outs are applied immediately. You agree not to work around those limits, and not to use the service for anything unlawful, misleading or harassing.

4. Payment

Plans are monthly and paid in advance. Prices exclude VAT. You can cancel at any time and your account runs to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part months.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the service running and the overnight run finishing on time, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Some of what LeadLamp depends on — public registers, email providers — is outside our control.

6. Your data

Your leads are yours. You can export them at any time, and if you close your account we delete them. We do not pool your data with anyone else’s or sell it. The Privacy page has the detail.

7. Suspension

We may suspend an account that is being used to send unlawful or abusive messages, or that is generating spam complaints at a level that threatens other customers’ deliverability. We will tell you why.

8. Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits or lost business.

9. Changes

We may change these terms; if a change matters we will tell you by email before it takes effect.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
