Nothing is recorded unless you accept analytics — see Cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics records anonymised, aggregate information about which pages are visited.
If you join the waitlist or use the contact form
We keep your email address, anything you typed, and the date. It is used to reply to you and to tell you when LeadLamp opens. It is not added to a newsletter and it is not shared. Ask us and we will delete it.
If you are a LeadLamp customer
We process the business contact data your account gathers on your behalf. You are the controller of that data and we are your processor. It stays in your account, is never pooled with other customers’ data, and is never sold.
If you received an email sent through LeadLamp
The sender is the controller — their name and address are on the message. They hold your business contact details: a work email address, and where published, a name and job role, gathered from public sources such as the Companies House register, the business’s own website and business directories.
The lawful basis is legitimate interests, and the sender keeps a written assessment of that decision. To stop receiving messages, use the unsubscribe link on any of them — it takes one click, needs no login, and applies permanently. You can also reply and ask.
Contact data for leads that go nowhere is deleted after twelve months of inactivity. Records of an opt-out are kept indefinitely, because they are the only way to guarantee you are not contacted again.
Your rights
- Ask what is held about you, and get a copy
- Have it corrected if it is wrong
- Have it deleted
- Object to it being used for direct marketing — this one is absolute
